Web Developer

    The Web Developerfor the AT Coalition works with the project management team to develop and maintain the online AT Coalition resoucre.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Development and maintenance of Front end projects in Drupal, PHP , MySQL.

    • Site / Application architecture planning.

    • Ensure that site meets appropriate accessibility standards.

    • Work with project management on project specs and time estimates.

    • Collaborate with Marketing, Editing and User teams.

    • Participate in marketing: developing user content/interface in response to end user requests, and producing demos suitable for use in marketing.

    Preferred Skills

    • 2+ years experience with accessible web design essential, excellent knowledge of section 508, W3C standards.

    • Experience working with Non-profit organizations and people with disabilities.

    • 5 years+ experience in web development using Drupal, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery/Ajax.

    • 5 years + experience using MySQL.

    • Drupal custom module development (Drupal API/hooks).

    • Comfortable working with all areas of Drupal – theming, module development and QA, and site configuration.

    • 2+ years experience using PHP outside of Drupal.

    • Enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has exceptional attention to detail.
