Reuse of Your Unused Technology
Because of the proliferation of available used computer equipment, we have had to limit the scope of what computers we can accept as donations.
Minimum Requirement for Donated PC's
- Pentium 600 MHz or higher
- 17" or larger color monitor (minimum 832 x 624 resolution, thousands of colors)
- Minimum 64 MB RAM
- CD-ROM drive
- 2 GB or larger hard drive
- Windows 98 or higher
- Preferably with sound card and speakers
Minimum Requirements for Donated Macintosh computers:
- Mac G3 or G4 or iMac with 15" or larger color monitor
- PowerBook G3 or G4 or iBook
- Minimum 64 MB RAM (128 MB for G4 computers)
- CD-ROM drive
- System 8.6 or higher
- 2 GB or larger hard drive
All equipment must be in working order.
How To Get It From You To Us
CforAT is staffed regularly from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday to Friday.
We receive donations during these times. In addition, we are sometimes
able to pick up equipment, and you can contact us to make arrangements.
If you are a donating several computers at one time, we can arrange for
a convenient pickup time.
