Description
Founded in 1983, the World Institute on Disability (WID) is a nonprofit public policy center focused on research and public education on a wide range of issues in the disability field, including: Economic Development, Employment Policy and Work Incentives, Healthcare Policy, Housing, Independent Living, PAS (Personal Assistance Services), Technology Policy, Training and Public Education, Transportation, and Women with Disabilities. WIDs education services include information on adaptive technology and workplace accomodations.

Assistive Technology Services: Referral
Provides training to community organizations about assistive technology and accessibility. Provides referrals for clients to Bay Area community resources
