Description
Founded in 1982, Support for Families is a family center providing information and education to families of children with disabilities/special health care needs and the community at large. Services include a phone line, drop-in center, support groups, peer parent support, parent professional workshops, trainings, newsletter, a computer-based assistive technology demonstration lab and library. The drop-in center is housed at Open Gate.

Provides referrals for clients to Bay Area community resources and training to clients, family members, professionals or organizations about assistive technology
